Censorship is saying: 'I'm the one who says the last sentence. Whatever you say, the conclusion is mine.' But the internet is like a tree that is growing. The people will always have the last word - even if someone has a very weak, quiet voice. Such power will collapse because of a whisper.

Saturday Self Challenge: Arch
This one was a challenge, and had me searching for arches on every walk and drive we undertook. Being away from towns, there were no man-made arches to photograph, so I finally settled on shapes from the grasses growing at a creek edge.
I hope the above photograph is not pushing the theme just too far. By using my imagination a little, and together with their shadows, I found at least 10 arch shapes in the above photograph.

This is an in camera abstract of Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) in Kyoto, Japan, seen though a stand of bamboo from a hillside behind the temple. The gold colour is the temple, the red comes from a Japanese maple turned red in the fall and the green comes from the cypress trees. The image was made by panning the camera up at a slow shutter speed.

This is my concession to Autumn. Brisbane doesn't really have a lot of trees that are deciduous in winter, so I have created this contribution inspired by a hanging street sculpture and Autumn itself of course.
Thanks for stopping by. Appreciate your comments. :)
