This was my first venture into Narrowband that I uploaded in September. I have been running through further tutorials from Kayron Mercieca. Steep learning curve but a great improvement.
This is a standard Hubble Palette.

Taken with my TS 65QAPO telescope, filter wheel, LRGB filters and Atik 490ex. Guiding was 90x50 finder with QHY5IIL. Software used was Artemis capture, PHD guiding, Pixinsight and Photoshop.

after he fell apart following a really stupid confrontation with another bulb, naked bulb was forced to take time off to heal...first step in treatment: gathering all his scattered pieces.
he was furious... "reduced to a stack of pancakes" was the nicest thing he screamed. ah....the indignity of it all!

apologies.......tried lightening this up in aviary because it looked darker when it got here than when it was on my laptop screen
but it dropped the picture out instead of replacing it ~sigh~

Lens reflecting. My eyeglasses lying on the bench I'm sitting on. I'm fascinated by the curves and curls as they go in and out of focus.
Yesterday I was out much of the day ~ with camera ~ and took lots of pictures just for fun. Strictly speaking the pictures I'll post are not breakfast abstracts but I think that's going to be my name for images clearly abstracted from photographs, often macros like this one, and not otherwise created.

Not much more to say, but that it was shot in Salthill, Galway Bay, Ireland on a 'fresh' day. (Read: strong winds.)
New construction on the Exhibition Square Basel.
The hole is part of the new building designed by Herzog & de Meuron. With a diameter of 30 meters (100 feets) it lets through enough sunshine to illuminate the open space beneath.
