The famous spiral ramp in the Vatican Museum, Rome, Italy.
This is a much photographed view but you can put your own stamp on it by waiting for the people using the ramp to form a balanced picture. Also it looks slightly different at the various levels and you can decide which one you like the best.
Yesterday's marsh hawk photo closed our visit to Port Aransas.
Now continuing abstracts, with several more to come in the next few days. All of these were taken straight down on a floor in an art gallery or studio complex, mostly in re-purposed buildings that formerly served industries. The surfaces tend to be distressed, with uneven lighting that may be artificial or a mix of natural and artificial. The colors are always enhanced in post-processing through an exploratory process.

The sandy bottom and clear waters in Sand Creek along with morning shadows create wonderful reflections.
