From a trip to Avila Beach this spring. I loved the corkscrew reflections of the pilings in the ripples of the wet sand along with the faint colors of the sky.

Red Pine in Hocking Hills State Park - slow-mo pan. Took a 1st place in the "Shoot the Hills photo contest" - amateur division
E.ROD.ED, E.ROD.ING –verb (used with object)
1. To eat into or away; destroy by slow consumption or disintegration: "Flickr had eroded all her desire to do housework."
2. To cause to diminish or deteriorate as if by eating into or wearing away: "Playing with Photoshop often erodes resolution to accomplish other tasks."
Number 43 in the 111 pictures in 2011 Group is "Numbers", so raided one of my daughter's abstract art pictures and pasted in 37 photos, featuring the numbers 1 to 37 using the "difference" blend in Photoshop which produces quite surprising results - stopped at "37" because it was getting too crowded and also 37 is a prime factor of 111.
It's a picture of a holy tree. Only changes were to clarity and vibrance then exported. The effect is produced by a Russian lens called Helios-44-2 which has been modified (by myself) to produce a super bokeh effect. I'm always fascinated by the swirly effect this lens produces. Only works under certain lighting conditions.
