Took this photo during my short 1 week break back in Hong Kong for my birthday. Big thanks to Euky who volunteered his own time in taking me to this location for the shoot. I was always fascinated by housing estates and the lifestyles which surrounded them even though I have never really lived in one myself. With the government tearing these places down in favour of newer public housing these places are really getting rare too. Hopefully this one lasts till the next time I am home for me to shoot it again. View On White

Yellow bucket abstract

This one might be a little removed from my usual seascape images........

I spotted some outdoor artwork whilst on a macro shoot with long time friend and fellow flickr photographer Joe Micallef at The Hunter Botanical Gardens at Heatherbrae NSW; Australia yesterday.

I've done a little enhancing and a big boost of saturation and contrast to give me this end image - hope you like it!

Some of us older flickr persons might recall the Psychedelic period of the 60's :-)

Have a great day and thanks for any comment for this or any of my other images!

Layers of raindrops. The rain opened the possibility of raindrop abstracts! In the morning, of course! I tried something new when I took these images ~ taking the pictures through the screened window. You can see the screen in the previous image but it was the drops on the glass that were in focus.

Here it is the opposite ~ the screen and the drops in and on it are in focus but the ones on the glass are floating blurs. (Floaters?) One more image will follow as part of the raindrop abstract series...

I have no idea how these shots got taken and what they are of. But I like them.
