Shock of the New Challenge # 64.0 ~ Awesome Abstracts ~
See the first comment box below for the original artwork of mine I created this abstract from.
I love the Oystercatchers, they gather in huge numbers on the Solway Coast at Mawbray. There's so much energy when they take off, I wanted to try and show that with the longer exposure.

16/52: Project 52 - Patterns
I decided to think outside the box for the patterns theme and go for ICM in the bluebell woods at Blickling Hall in Norfolk. I used a ND grad filter to cut out some of the light and moved the camera in a downwards movement.
This is a photo of the intense colours of sunset photographed through some trees while intentionally moving the camera. I love how the diffuse darker toned shapes suggest a pareidolia narrative - a scene of a heroic military commander such as Alexander the Great rallying his army during battle. The composition of the image is divided in half by a balanced light/dark polarity or dualism.

For Crazy Tuesday#Abstract
This is actually a failed shot of a water droplet on a dry leaf.
Now let me make you smile.
Whenever I show to my son my abstract works, he asks me "Why persistently you call your failed photos an Abstract?
My answer is
"If we consider the definition "Artwork which takes liberties, altering for instance color and form in ways that are conspicuous, can be said to be partially abstract" , then I don't think it matters how the work came about, but whether the work satisfy this definition."
😄 HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday 😄
Many thanks for stopping here, happy night or day to everyone ....:)
