Abstract 9584 - Seen on a door, Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona. Second of four from this series, and it becomes more obvious for the subject by the last image. It's a pretty straight forward photograph.
I'm back doing "Forest Abstracts" ... this is number 10 in the series (I made a set if you care to see the others). I highly recommend the exercise of abstracting the forest, try it ... it's addictive! This is not heavily processed even though it appears to be ... strong contrast adjustment, colour balance warmed up a wee bit and then the image was sharpened. The effect is an artifact of using a very long lens and relatively wide aperture for a narrow depth of field - only one of the trees is in focus as you can see. The trees were snow free due to a short bout of warmer weather but it is snowing once again as I type this note.
I had a feeling during the hike that I was going to see Frodo and Sam at any moment :)

Three hours later: Wiggle foot. Wiggle foot. Wiggle foot. Remember! I have my P&S in my pocket! And look at all the colorful things on the counter!

Chris wrote, "For your challenge I am hoping you will delve into the abstract and still bring all of that awesome color and sharpness that is in your other photos." It's been a busy week, but I am finishing the challenge just under the wire. :-)

Day 27... *Being Aligned*
Photographed image of a film that developed on the water's surface when I rinsed out my cooler at lakeside. I don't know what caused the film.
I'm trying to figure out creative ways to display my doodles.. Most of my images are simple; one subject with no other content. This is probably due to my Autism. I tend to hyper-focus on one subject at a time..
This image was an attempt to create a Gallery Image in Abstract, to create a work of art that also contains other works of art. I used GIMP to create this Surreal Abstract..
I sketched the outlines for this image on a little post-it-note, in December of 2014. It sat on my desk for a long time before I finally got the inspiration to complete the project.. I photographed the sketch using my Amazon Fire Tablet, then uploaded it to my computer..
To create this image, I had to basically invent some new tricks, using the trial and error method.. I'm not a trained artist, nor have I been trained to use image editing software.. I learn by just doing it..!
