Our walks continue; this time along the River Derwent - one which runs through the city-centre.

So, today's stuck-in-head song belongs to Jewel...

We're half-way through the week, people! Happy hump-day!

And the rest of our lives

Will the moments accrue

When the shape of their goneness

Will flare up anew

Sorry for the 2 month absence. I can't believe it has been that long! I completely forgot to load this image from my fair shoot with Knives of Spain musician Gwen Young.

I want to thank everyone for making 2010 a successful photography year for me. I have alot of be thankful for and you guys play a part in it.

Also, I have launched my new website (see profile for link)!

Stay tuned, 2011 is going to rock!...

and I loved my garden into being every year. I started at this time of year, the "I can't take it any long, monochromatic time of year." Throwing on a heavy sweater, I'd go to the shed and pull out my empty pots. And up to the deck they'd go... where I could see them easily from inside the living room. That way, whenever i needed inspiration, I could look out at the deck and imagine the green coming. Which it did by late May, after I'd planted what I wanted to see distributed in mid-June throughout my garden as features of love.

So I miss my once-upon-a-time garden.

But today, this picture appeared after an absence of a few years. It came to remind me that my garden lives within me. And I can rest and see the green coming whenever I need a blessing.

Well my absence, as you can see, was called off. I am pretty much back but with school won't be as active.

As promised here is another Sicily WIP pic. Hope you guys like it. Other than troops, floorboards, rocks, and a few touches on the white villa (meaning variation with more dark tan), these sections are complete. You may or may not see this at BF AL or BF VA next year, but fingers crossed I can go to one if not both. ;-)

More apologies for my absence! I am still living out of a suitcase - three months now! I won't be into my new place by Christmas but I will definitely be there in the course of 2012 (moving the goal posts)!!!

This was taken on a photo shoot with my Australian contact crafty1tutu (Ann) when she was on her European tour recently. Surely the best thing about Flickr is meeting up with your contacts and going on photo shoots together!

Or at least I think its around six. Anyways, last weekend I headed on over to the Lego store and got the War Machine Buster, Praetorian Guard battle pack, and a build-a-minifig. Lets dive into the figs :)

Left to right:

Max Rebo: Nothing new, just gave him a saxophone.

Wat Tambor: Changed the torso and got him a proper dress/slope piece.

Anakin Ep. 3: Dig how this brown Mad Eye hair looks on him.

Luke TLJ: I think this head fits him better than the official one.

Praetorian Guard: Nothing special, I just thought he looked cool with these gloves. The only downside is that he can't hold anything, which is why I've since removed them.

Sorry for the small absence. Life's just been kind of... depressing. I don't know, I guess I've felt a bit down recently. Ah well, I'll get past it.

Hope you enjoy :)

Decided I want to play with Photoshop again - a bit rusty but I liked working with it again.

Thanks to the members of York Camera Club for making me feel so welcome last night, I really enjoyed the warm reception you offered me and I hope you enjoyed the talk. I wonder if I’m correct to assume that trying to lock me into the building afterwards was a positive sign!

Just to remind you and all others that are interested, I’ve some workshops coming up in Bolton Abbey and Whitby. It would be fantastic if any of you out there would be interested in joining me. Oh yes, if anybody other society or club out there is interested in having me along for a couple of hours to try and inspire your landscape photography members, I would be extremely happy to come along (that is if it’s not too far).

Anyway for the moment with this shot, there is an absence of talking, I think I’ve done enough of that in the last few days to last me a while, what with workshop at the weekend and talk last night... (I hear some of you breathing a sigh of relief....)
