This Goddess bead is made by Teresa of Lavender Creek. I handmade the Byzantine Rose chain and used Green Girl charms, and a sturdy fine silver pod head pin by Kate McKinnon to hold the Goddess in place. I like the faceted amethysts and Swarovski Emerald Ab rounds as a small accent--they go with the flowers on the bead! Thanks, Jean

Macro shot taken by my oldest daughter who is 7 during our photowalk around the lake. This is far from an easy shot to take even with my camera gear because I had a macro extension tube attached. For those who know, very small movements can change the focus incredibly quick. Proud of her for being able to keep still enough to take a focused shot as well as frame it so nicely.

Just for fun !
I made these tangerine beads a while back and was waiting for inspiration to hit. I found it in this month's ABS Challenge. They remind me of the lanterns in the painting. I pulled in some of the greens and purples from the painting and used some little yellow jade chip beads in between. Their lacyness mimics the lily. The ribbon is just the color of the girls dresses. I dangled some little pink flower beads at the clasp.
