I have been meaning for some time to scan some of my collection of stuff not taken at rallys, as the gallery is full of them.

First off a fairly recent shot (about 10 years ago) An AWD version of the Bedford MK 14 KH 66 being towed along the A55 by Scammell 66 GT 85 towards the TA centre at Prestatyn. A poor shot from the rear seat of a Transit van.

An AWD TL truck. It was basically a modernized version of the Bedford TL, after the Dunstable plant was aquired by David Brown. Production apparently ended in 1995.

The 'Snow Blower' is a special built by AWD of Camberley for the MOD and other government departments. The truck has an original 6x6 chassis, Perkins P6 Diesel and an Airflow Streamlines cab as used on the Commer Superpoise and Dodge Kew. The large Dorman Diesel is fitted in the van body to drive the blower which was made by Rolba and would not fit any standard British chassis, hence these AWDs were designed to fit the blower.

This is my rendition of the Hobart class Air Warfare Destroyer due to enter service in the RAN in 2016.

I rarely ever see these. Sorry about the quality of the pic; I was hanging out of the passenger-side window in my friend's 500 Abarth to take this pic before it got away! 😝

I was intrigued by this 1992 AWD TL 8-14, registration J479 FGU, carrying 'D. Gilbert & Sons', as I was wondering why this make of wagon doesn't have an apparent radiator grille. There was another example on another part of the showground and that didn't have one either. Perhaps someone can enlighten me. 7/8/22.
