So today Andy, Brennan, and myself met up to go get some shots. Man, I havent shot anything automotive in forever, and these pics show it badly. Not happy with these at all. Oh well. Had a little fun today in the snow, just these two for now.

Techniek (bewerkingen): Donderdag voor het eerst naar het AWD-gebied geweest. Natuurlijk wist ik ook van de daar goed benaderbare vossen. Echter gezien het feit dat dit een onbekend gebied voor mij was ging ik ervan uit dat ik ze niet zou zien. Uiteindelijk heb ik er drie gezien en een ervan liet zich vrij gemakkelijk fotograferen. Ik heb ze ongeveer 2 a 3 minuten kunnen fotograferen. Vandaag 2 uploads van de vos!

DHB997, an All Wheel Drive Ltd of Camberley converted six-wheeler Thames Trader tipper new to Merthyr Tydfil Corporation- Borough Engineers Dept.

I was told today that these heavyweight 6x4 Trader conversions used the engine, gearbox, cab and front axle from the Thames, but the chassis rails and other mechanicals were made by AWD.

Seen parked awaiting that call in the roadwaorks at Leeming Bar is this very very unique truck. AWD K7AWD. ( the phoenix of Bedford that also never rose far enough from the fire ) K7AWD was built as a tractor unit for military evaluation as a tank transporter prime mover. Sadly she never got as far as production and is now owned and operated by Auto Recovery Services
