not quite intentional but with the help of my trusty 3 year old golden doodle helper this turned out more interesting than my sharp and in focus attempts
I think these were the first low-floor double-deckers bought by London Central. They were fitted with clumsy cack-handed central staircase bodywork. This one was new early in 2000. It was still in service with them in August 2009 when I took this picture.
The location is the Goods Way stand at Kings Cross that is no longer used.
On Saturday 28th November 2015 ARRIVA Kent Thameside's route 5 which operates between Southend Travel Centre and Basildon Bus Station was converted to MAX route using five refurbished vehicles displaced from the Fastrack network in Kent by new StreetLites. However despite this upgrade low patronage has forced ARRIVA to withdrawn from operating the route the last day being Saturday 3rd September 2016.
MAX liveried and branded for route 5, ARRIVA Kant Thameside 3823 GN07 AVL is seen on High Road, Pitsea whilst working route 5. Saturday 6th August 2016.
