Avalon ocean pool is located on the northern beaches of Sydney and is a fantastic location for seascape photography.

Bit of flow action at Avalon beach this morning, as the year is coming to an end im really looking forward to next year and seeing where my photography takes me and how it progresses.

I haven't posted this before as to be honest I wasn't sure if it was good enough - I do like playing with landscapes and we're blessed round here with plenty of great views.

This was taken just outside Ashcott as you take the road to RSPB Ham Wall and Meare. It was taken a moment after 6am on a trip to try and see roosting chasers and later hobbies - worked out on both counts that day.

Large is best.

A long exposure on an overcast morning.

This morning was a relief to be able to get out and do some landscapes, not so much in the sky but some great motion in the ocean up at Avalon. Hope everyone has a great day and looking forward to some time off with friends and family.

Una vista de Jorquera (Albacete), en la noche, de ayer mismo; la ingente nubosidad hizo que el resplandor del sol permaneciera hasta bastante después de haber desaparecido bajo el horizonte, aportando una interesante y peculiar nota de color a la noche, que la hizo más original y elegante. A view of Jorquera (Albacete, Spain), at night, taken just yesterday; the huge cloudiness continued to keep the sun reflection on the clouds longer after it had disappeared below the horizon, providing an interesting and peculiar note of colour to the night, making it more original and elegant. We enjoyed a great day of photography in the pleasant company of good colleagues 👍 and listening to a good 80's music playlist along the way 🎵 🎵🎶 😄

Avalon is 20 minutes drive north of where I was staying at Narrabeen (karate camp). A small pair of pools attached to the south headland. There with only 1 other photographer which was great as it isn't a large spot.

High tide meant no access to the rock shelf east of the pool and some waves were going over the top of the pool.

Sodium lights illuminate the pool before dawn.

Its been a few weeks since Ive been able to have a photo shoot for myself so I had to for my own piece of mind get out this morning and decided to head to Avalon. It was pitch black when I got there and didnt think there would be much of a sunrise but boy did mother nature put on a magnificent display of colour, cloud and flow in the ocean. Hope you enjoy this moment as it certainly made my day and made me feel heaps better to be able to take my mind of the current situation we are all in.

This morning I was up at Avalon and managed to put this together with some colour and motion in the ocean. Hope your week is going well and you enjoy the photo.

Avalon beach and headland are such awesome locations for a sunrise shoot. The light on the water was just stunning this morning. Hope you enjoy these moments captured in time.

View of Avalon Harbor ,beach ,Green Pier and Casino from an overlook on our 2 hr golf cart ride. We visited Catalina for 2 days and 3 nights for a short vacation. I hadn't been in 15 years and I now wish to return as soon as possible. A unique,laid back and great getaway any time of year.

Avalon beach is one of my favourite beaches to shoot in Sydney.
