Sometimes I think by the river, other times I run and train for my races.
Today I ran 13 km...you can do a lot of thinking in 13 km
[Korea City & Jeju Photo Contest in April]
♥ beautiful Korea City in the middle of nature, where your imagination goes every your border, sitting on a piano, I listen to the waves of the sea, transported by the music of my heart!. :)

TUNE: ATEEZ 에이티즈 - 'WAVE' Piano Cover 피아노 커버
Polaroid SX70. Polaroid ATZ film.
"So we moved, and they, in a formal pattern,
Along the empty alley, into the box circle,
To look down into the drained pool.
Dry the pool, dry concrete, brown edged,
And the pool was filled with water out of sunlight,
And the lotos rose, quietly, quietly,
The surface glittered out of heart of light,
And they were behind us, reflected in the pool."
- TS Eliot
'Burnt Norton'
This is a rescan of this shot that I uploaded in August with ArtisticTZ, and as you can see there's a very obvious yellow colour shift that has occurred. Anyone else had this occur?
ice is no fun to drive on but looks amazing the way the light shines on all the branches of trees encased in ice.

Polaroid ATZ Edge Cut (expired)
ATZ film..amazingly it works. Probably the last pack I will shoot. Save the other 9 shots for Polaroid Week
the sun's out this morning & it's feeling spring-ish (after yesterday's cold blustery winter downpour!)
part of jeff hutton's great polaroid giveaway project -- he mailed me one of his polaroids, asking that i photograph it here & send back the file.
mine arrived yesterday, a brick-and-vine scene from (i'm assuming) brooklyn, and i decided to try to photograph it within my own rural-esque landscape -- but the only workable way i could figure it out was using a reflection of the landscape instead.
the mysterious pale figure in the bottom right corner is the beast of a dilapidated trailer on our property -- edge of my porch is on the left. the window used to be a bathroom window, but it was replaced with double-panes before i moved in, & since then it's been leaning against the wall of the house, and seemed like a good perch for this bit of brooklyn.
i couldn't get the cross-pieces of the window straight without blocking the reflected view, but perhaps crooked works better anyway.
I've been experimenting with Polaroid's ATZ film. I'm not crazy about the results, but there's something about the faded timelessness of it that puts me in mind of TS Eliot....
"Time present and time past
Are both perhaps present in time future
And time future contained in time past.
If all time is eternally present
All time is unredeemable...."
- TS Eliot
