Le sport c'est bon pour la santé, il paraît...
J'en sais fichtre rien moi, je fais de l'activité physique. Le sport, très peu pour moi.
Par contre : me balader avec un sac photo de 5kg, un trépied de 2kg et un appareil photo de 3kg, c'est une aimable plaisanterie... :-))
Bon, sérieusement, le sport peut être très photogénique, mais les photos de rue et de sport se mélangent...
...Rarement. :-)

The gulls, until 1901 also seagulls, form a subfamily within the order of plover-like or waders and gulls. Gulls are medium-sized to large birds. They have relatively long and narrow, pointed wings and strong, slender beaks with slightly downward-curving upper beaks. The three forward pointing toes are connected by webbed toes, a fourth, very short toe points backwards or is missing in some species.

When we were staying in the Sushwap Lakes area of BC, I was standing on a viewing platform overlooking a lake. I saw several birds that I assumed were Tree Swallows. They moved so fast flying over the water and then perched in the shadows to hide their true colors. But I did take time to read the information board at that spot. It said to watch for the Violet Green Swallow. I had never heard of them before. So I hung around patiently trying to capture one of these birds in the right light to check their colors. I managed to get only these two shots and luckily I had enough light to identify that this was indeed the Violet Green Swallow. The things you can learn if you pay attention. Happy Wing Wednesday!

Playing around after a day of walking through old Montreal. The lights in the restaurant associated with our hotel were accented by the glow of a pink-purple neon light tube which snaked around the room near the ceiling. The colors reflected in the crystal hanging at the bottom drew my attention.
