Milano, Piazza San Gioachimo, 19 November 2017.
Milan has a fleet of 100 of these trams dating from the 1976-1978 built by Stanga and Fiat. They are known as the Jumbotram in Milan. The 4900 series is currently being refurbished and these can be identifed by a slightly different livery, such as this tram.

Irisbus can hardly have expected such a poor reaction to the Citelis when it replaced the CityClass in the Italian market.; sales have been poor, contributing to Irisbus' decision to stop bus production in Italy.
ATM have taken batches, some in their green livery and others like 6204 (DN 189 BV) in the more familiar green-trimmed orange. I think this is a CNG bus, hence the 'EcoBus' logo.

ATM bought hundreds of Iveco and Irisbus CityClass over the years. 2815 (CL 932 GP) is an articulated version. The CityClass was well liked in Italy. It had a super low floor almost all the way to the rear, which is important on 3- and 4- door vehicles. I think the engine was transversely-mounted.
