Father Paul Soper, Fr. Matt Williams and Fr. Jonathan Gaspar along with Natalia Soares and Ann Gennaro all from the Pastoral Center in Braintree, took part in distribution of ashes Wednesday morning at Park Street Station in downtown Boston. The Ash Wednesday event, sponsored by the Secretary for Evangelization and Discipleship distributed ashes to approximately 200 people. Every recipient was also given a sheet of paper with a short description of the meaning of ashes as well as an invitation to return to Church this Lent. Model is John Ash Hawthorne, a very talented model who I really enjoyed shooting with. He's a sprinter at Sydney Uni and in my opinion has a little bit of a James Dean thing happening in most photos.
The Ash Ranges are an area of heathland in Surrey bordered by Ash to the South, Aldershot, Ash Vale and Mytchett to the weest and Pirbright to the east. The ranges are in active use by the army but normally open to the public after approx 3pm most days and all day on bank holiday weekends, although opening times and dates do vary.
