...greylag goose taking off on the magic morning at Whitlingham a couple of weeks ago. I pretty desperate for fog, frost or snow but I'm hoping to make it to Pensthorpe Nature Reserve this week in any case,. Its the only time of year when the reserve is open to the public during sunset, so I'm hoping to catch some lovely birds flying though the golden hour :)
Of course I'll also be at CatChums to celebrate with all the loving festive kits...quite probably on Christmas Day itself!
Ascensión al Beriain / San Donato (1.493 m.) desde el pequeño pueblo de Unanu. Esta preciosa y mítica cima en la sierra de Andia es la más prominente de toda la montaña navarra. Es una especie de enorme meseta rocosa sobre una inmensa llanura. En la cumbre se encuentra la ermita de San Donato, que da también nombre al monte. Las vistas desde arriba son sensacionales.

Preciosa ascensión a Castro Valnera (1.718 m.), una de las montañas más bellas e impresionantes de la parte oriental de la Cordillera Cantábrica, partiendo desde la zona de El Bernacho (norte de Burgos). Las vistas son realmente espectaculares. Es un monte importante; hacia el este no existirá montaña de mayor altitud hasta llegar a los Pirineos. Esta cima divide Burgos y Cantabria.

El Mortillano (o Porra del Mortillano) es la cumbre más alta de la Sierra de Hornijo (1.419 m.), un gran macizo calizo en la zona oriental de Cantabria. Ascensión realizada desde el precioso paraje de los Collaos del Asón.

Salto Grande was definitely the prime waterfall attraction in Torres del Paine National Park . The powder blue color of its waters from all the sediment embedded in the glacier-fed waters added to its scenic allure. The watercourse would eventually feed the gorgeous Lago Pehoe, which was one of the prettier lakes in the patagonia, Chile.
