Colorful ASA dial on a Petri 2.8. This camera has no built in metering, so the dial is just for the photographer to remember the film speed. Most people used stand alone light meters at this time anyway.

Photographed April 2021 / FED-2 FSU rangefinder with LOMO 40mm/4 hacked lens. The film was FOMAPAN 400 bulk stock metered ASA 200 developed in Meritol-Metol ( a Johnson’s of Hendon formula containing three developing agents viz. catechol, p-phenylenediamine and metol).

Banbury, Sunday morning, 12th January 2020, Canon 90UII camera and pre-exposed Agfa Vista Plus 200 colour film (expired in April 2017 and left over from my Poundland stash!)

I explain how I did this using fairy lights (and more, including why it didn't work out exactly as I had planned) in episode 1 of season 4 of Photo Chat Vlog.
