As I have previously mentioned, the Festival of Fantasy parade is one of my favorites here at Magic Kingdom. The awesome soundtrack that accompanies the awesome performance makes this parade a must see when at the Magic Kingdom. Better hope for clear skies and no rain because that Rainy Day Cavalcade doesn't do the Festival of Fantasy any justice. Here is a quick edit to make it for the Sunday cutoff. He started the mural in 2017 as a chronicle of Black history. He completed it three years later.

It’s the largest mural in Pittsburgh, the building which features it, is the Community Empowerment Association on Kelly St. in Homewood. This is only the right side of the mural.

The mural is part of the MLK Community Mural Project, founded by Holbrook to help kids get involved with community work through public art over the summer. Since its start in 2002, murals through the MLK Project have been painted in 27 states and 43 countries. As of last year, around 45,000 youth have participated.

As we have 1 hour and a half to waist before today's panel at the Comic Con and the reveal of the day (even if we already know that Lorna Mcnessie will be one of them, yeah THEM, today we will have more than 1 doll revealed ^^) I think it was the perfect moment to upload the pic I took this afternoon :p

While I was cleaning some boxes this afternoon I found some Fashionistas girls, most of them are customs from flea markets or original that I bought in store but that I restyled soooo as my boys were still hanging in my living room I decided to take a group shot ^^

...so as this food on the table : Spicy Medium Hot Satay Chicken with Couscous and Fresh Coriander Leaves.

Couscous is very quick to prepare 5 mins for a simple couscous . I did mixed this with diced sweet pepper ,carrots and red onions and a teaspoon of lemon juice ,so a bit complicated but worth it rather than a plane one .Plus I lightly stir fry the pepper /onions etc ( not the couscous) to kill any spoilage bacteria just in case ,also to make the couscous with pepper /onions mixed in if any left over to last another day . I ae eaten a 3 days old couscous stored in the fridge ,i was ok :)

The Satay chicken was cooked from smaller sliced chicken .I normally marinade them for couple of hours then half roast them as I thought this will drain out the fat .Then stir fry onions ,bamboo shoots ,grated ginger then mixed a teaspoon of RedThai curry , half a teaspoon Garam Masala , and stir in the Satay sauce ,then pour on chicken stock with seasoning , then simmer for 10-15 minutes or untl the sause reach in thicker consistency or depends with ones preference .I don't like chicken swimming in a deep light soupy stuff . Anyway, I do love fresh coriander leaves together to complete the dish . My kids aren't into coriander ,only me and hubby.

I have already reported my complaint about this abusive woman in flickr with IDs as follows : helene^D , selena.j2012 , belesa.72 . Also I get supporting emails from other women in flickr who also had similar experience as I do ,being harassed by this woman only for commenting to the person she hates .I suspect perhaps her lost love or boyfriend ,we never know the real story . She used to flood me with trashy emails ,I normally just delete and ignore them .This has been on for months now . I must admit ,my patience has limits and she's passing around defamatory statements against my personal character to other flickr users which is unacceptable .So this gotta stop . She is causing complete disruption to my little time here in flickr .I could not even comment on some of you as my time is limited and thinking about this flickr ugly character .Some flickr women were reporting her abuse too . I hope flickr admin will take action very soon .

My "supposed" rainy weekend at the coast turned out not so rainy after all.

I've been engaging in some short, private crossdressing opportunities at home recently, after acquiring and trying out some new clothes, shoes, and accessories. This is the 66th pic posted from this recent CD activity, and taken just a few weeks ago.

As usual, I really enjoy color-coordinating attractive/sexy/cute outfits, and this one features a spaghetti-strap low-cut tan velvet dress with pink lace, topped with a blush-pink open cardigan, and accompanied by pink suede high heel booties (not seen here), and a complementary belt, purse, tights, and jewelry.

As an 8f passes above him a member of BR staff heads for work at the nearby locomotive shed at Widnes (see adjacent picture). The tanks the loco is hauling are not normal petroleum tanks, bitumen maybe? Taken in 1967 or 68, probably the latter.

I processed the film today. Even though I have done this thousands of times, you never really relax until you see those first few frames come out of the wash.

That's the magic of film. It demands your abilities.

And even though I should be in bed, I at least had to do a few scans to serve my impatience.

Though this may not end up being an official part of the series....It's at least a tribute to how much Devon nailed this very difficult part...a part that is probably one of the most evil persons in the entire book of Judges.

It's even more of a tribute because Devon is probably one of the kindest, least violent and gentlest person you could meet.

More and much more to come. But for now....I know Sunday delivered up it's promise....

The red brick clock tower was once part of the nearby Trinity Street station but was relocated to its present position in the 80's when the original station buildings were demolished.

The churchyard filled with deathcold snow that silenced even the cries of lost souls. And the stillness glowed with an iridescent aura. Peace fell with the snow.

As manufactured by the Best Company, San Leandro, California, around 1905. Some of these behemoths remain preserved, even operational. Best merged with the Holt Company (known for their tracked vehicles) in 1925, to become Caterpillar.

The Best traction engines are easyly recognized by their three-wheeled design and their upright boiler - the horizontal tank is a water container. Other than that, the design was pretty antiquated for its time, with no brakes, no gear shift, and a top speed of about 4mph.

The most prominent Best engine is "Old Dinah", purchased in 1894 for hauling borax through Death Valley. Today it can bee seen sitting at Furnace Creek, in a pretty desolate state.

Another preserved engine, the very one that inspired me to this build, is nicknamed "Susanpuffer" and can be seen in action here on youtube:

Through the early parts of America’s involvement in World War II, the United States forceably moved and imprisoned over 120,000 of its Japanese citizens. They were mostly taken from the West Coast to more inland places such as Idaho, Utah, and Camp Amache in Colorado, pictured here.

The camp, near the town of Granada, was opened in August of 1942. Over its three-years of existence, nearly 10,000 Japanese-Americans were shuffled through. The population at any given time was around 7,000.

Most of the prisoners came from the Los Angeles area. The were allowed only one bag per person, and were forced to sell homes, businesses, cars, pets.

Local white residents grew resentful when the Camp built a high school for its imprisoned children. They saw this as coddling.

But though they were prisoners, the history and reality of the situation isn’t so simple to digest. For example, their high school football team was treated like any other high school team, playing against other nearby schools (and winning all but one game in three years).

Words like “prisoner” and “forceably removed” are accurate and necessary, but – as will most history – there is nuance. The white culture of the United States is replete with racism. We’ve allowed it to soak into every page of our history. But white culture, like any human culture, also has empathy, goodness, and compassion. The mixture of this hatred with goodness, even love, is difficult to parse and understand. It never pleases either “side” in any debate.

History, it seems, has no sides. It just is. We can twist and interpret it to meet our ends, but ultimately, history doesn’t give a damn about us, and we should probably just accept it as it is.

All that is left today at Camp Amache is this watertower, a rebuilt barracks, a graveyard, and a sprawling gridwork of streets. It’s open to the public, and well worth a visit – as are all of the Japanese-American interment camps.

This locomotive was built by Lugansk (builders number 0764) in July 1977 as 132 529-9 and became 232 529-8 under the 1992 renumbering scheme.

232 529-8 leaves the freight yard at Brandenburg Hbf with an eastbound freight on Wednesday April 18th, 2007. By coincidence this locomotive was seen the next day in Kostrzyn, Poland.

As the Taurus troops advanced through Arronskov heavy losses were taken on both sides. 3 days into the battle a small number of Dragvold Legion troops came to the cities aid. Making a defense in the main square they utilized archerers to make quick dispatching of the invading troops.The city is in ruin but the battle still wages one and the fate of Arronskov is still uncertain...

This was a fun scene done in again under 2 hours. This whole city battle scenario began to remind me of Osgiliath from Lord of the Rings so I went ahead and based this scene of of some buildings in the movie.
