Removing the kitchen, power panding the walls to remove the old Artex and strating to recover the fire place was never going to be a clean job.
LOCATION
La Galleria Artex, in rumeno Galeriile de Artă “Artex”, si trova nella cittadina di Râmnicu Vâlcea (Romania) ed ospita l’associazione UAP - Uniunea Artiştilor Plastici din România, Filiala Vâlcea, che la gestisce e ne cura le esposizioni e le varie attività in campo artistico e sociale.
La galleria sorge nel centro della città, in Str. Emil Avrămescu, di fronte all’importante centro commerciale River Plaza Mall, una zona frequentata da moltissime persone durante tutto l’arco della giornata.
Il Circolo Artistico Culturale “Amici nell’Arte” noprofit ha già avuto il privilegio di essere ospitato dagli amici artisti rumeni della filiale UAP di Râmnicu Vâlcea nel maggio 2013, come ampiamente documentato nel sito web tematico della mostra precedente a questo link »
Ringraziamo per questo nuovo invito il nostro socio Constantin Stan Neacsu, socio anche della filiale UAP di Vâlcea e valido pittore, che da anni vive con la moglie in Liguria a Garlenda (SV) ove opera in ambito artistico, ed il vicepresidente per il territorio dell’UAP in Romania e presidente della filiale UAP di Vâlcea, Gheorghe Dican, anch’egli affermato pittore.

The older residents there, most of which are former workers of the factory, say that floods occurred frequently in the compound years ago with rising levels every year until, one day, the floods never receded. Now, a new generation of Artex residents are accustomed to this way of life—this is the life they were born with.
