In our mid-terrace house we have the tiniest of bathrooms. About 2 years after we moved in we had a new champagne-coloured suite installed, which was exciting at the time, but we were never happy that the fitters didn't hide the pipes (and we didn't like the Artex walls we'd inherited!). So after more than 30 years we've been able to have a complete new bathroom fitted, including new tiles, floor and paintwork! There's been ups and downs along the way, but Mike and his team have always found ways to get round any problems. Here are the 'after' shots of our tiny new bathroom!!

(New kitchen planned with the same team soon!)

God wants your life to be filled with peace and joy. He wants you to enjoy everyday living!

Scripture tells us that we should redeem the time. That means you should not let the gift of time go to waste and be distracted, but make the most of each day. When you fully understand the value of your time and see each day as a gift, it helps you keep the right perspective. As you do, you will live life more intentional, making the most of every opportunity.

Artex Compound

Malabon, Philippines

This file was finally rescued in Photoshop. My camera sensor blew out a spot and contaminated the entire right side of this frame with bright noise and color with a big top to bottom spike. I finally know enough about repairs to photos that I can post this remarkable moment. There were 5 rockets launched at the same mission to study the high - 60 mile high - atmosphere winds. This view was taken 30 seconds after the previous shot and received a bit better post processing. You can thank the power of Photoshop for the chance to see this.

If you ever find yourself laying flat on the floor of my dining room, and you were to look up... this is what you would see. I know, I have found myself there many times... normally when plastered.

Went to see a band. Got delusions of grandeur. Took photo of delusions (see above).

I was originally going to post this Photoshop free, where you would've been able to see the carpet on the living room floor and the artex on the ceiling (if you look close enough you can still see the artex). I thought it would be funny and fit the idea of a delusional bedroom guitarist quite well. But then I got started with the colours and it became a challenge to see just how much of the real world I could hide.

Our Beloved Garden

Many people associate Kanazawa city with its stunning Japanese garden, Kenroku-En. One of the three great gardens of Japan, guidebooks often list it as a must-see attraction.

The three Chinese characters that make up its name reveal the philosophy behind the garden.

The first character, “ken”, means to hold multiple functions. The middle one, “roku”, is the number six. The final character, “en”, signifies garden. All together the name literally means “a garden with six functions”. So what are these functions, and who decided them?

They are derived from a Chinese poem composed about the nineteen great gardens of China. Kenroku-En has six features in direct contradiction of each other.

The closest English equivalent to these pairings would be spaciousness and profoundness, artificialness and antiquity, water fountain landscapes and mountain panoramas.

This once-private garden for Lord Maeda officially opened to the public in 1872.

An entrance free was introduced in 1976, though residents of Ishikawa prefecture are exempt on weekends. It is also free to everyone during New Year’s and days designated for enjoying the beauty of nature, such as during the cherry blossom season and harvest moon.

Located in the heart of downtown, its not uncommon to see the residents of nearby homes walking or jogging around the premises. The garden is not only a popular destination for tourists, but a beloved park for the citizens as well.

May I surprise you? May I appear and desappear in front of you? May I show you fantastic things that you've never seen before? that you cannot even immage? Of course I can. I can take of my hat a rabbit or flawers, I can fly and maybe we can fly togheter but remember that 's just an illusion...I'm not a magician I'm just an Illusionist.

Ok, I made this just cause I want to show you my new hair cut. My friend Heath is in town and he cutted my hair, he is the creative art director for an important and famous hairdressers comapany and one of the most generous and kind person that I ever meet. So now tell me I look beautiful ;-)

One thing I'll say in favour of Belfast - rather than coating all street furniture in vile black artex, things like junction boxes have been decorated with odd art pieces.

When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
