An old drawing, made during one of my dark times, when I was using art as a tool for expressing my inner world and in that way transforming and healing it.

Opens November 1st.
Saw this in a local gallery and was so taken with it - including the old frame! It's worth looking at it larger to see the incredible details! I know I shouldn't really photograph other people's art and share it, and I will take it down if anyone objects - but it really is an exquisite piece!

It was a bright sunlit day which made photography a bit of a bugger to say the least in certain locations and, our mid morning arrival meant that we missed seeing some shutters, which were up as the shops were open for business - how inconvenient of them!
All in all though a good new place to explore.
Liked the lady walking by with her bag matching the artwork ...
Then the final version, with a frame applied on Photoshop, to cut the paper around and have a “camafeo” effect.
