Long time no see. xD Yeah, so, I drew a pic of Christina Grimmie (from youtube) as a fan photo to her. What do you think? :]
As I was drawing this I found it difficult not to incorporate nature along with the fairy. I find it curiously engaging when you start off with one simple idea and it streches itself to other great ideas. With this specific sketch I started off with the profile of the fairy's face, (still don't know whether a girl or boy), and went off from there. the leaves and flowers came as my imagination flowed. I believe it adds a nice touch and adds a more imaginary feel to the subject of my sketch.

The second annual Art Fest, Saturday May 11 and Sunday, May 12, 2013, focused on the handmade. The weekend featured local artisans, art activities for all ages, and craft demonstrations. Abigail Anne Newbold, artist behind the special exhibition Crafting Settlement, demonstrated her artistic process and answered visitors' questions.
Crochet designer, Jennifer Ryan, designed a unique yarn bomb for the museum courtyard (outdoor yarn art) and led a fun scavenger hunt for families through the beautiful outdoor yarn art made by around 80 knitters and crocheters across NH.

A magical light art route around the Almere Weerwater
During the autumn break of 2024, the third edition of ALLUMINOUS took place; the Almere light art festival where you discover various light artworks in a magical walk of approximately two hours around the Weerwater. After the great success of the ALLUMINOUS editions in 2022 and 2023 with 30,000 and 34,000 visitors, the light art festival is back with ten new light artworks, the cycle route, the shuttle boat and a packed fringe programme with music performances, activities and catering. ALLUMINOUS is a free festival. There is no start or end point for the light art route. You can start the walk at any point of the Rondje Weerwater.
