A Catholic church built in the sixteenth century. It was founded by Juan Téllez-Girón, 4th Count of Ureña.
The interior contains a nave and two aisles, five chapels, and a presbytery. The interior of the church is richly decorated in Renaissance style. It has a Baroque main altar, constructed in the eighteenth century, and the chapels on the sides are all very attractive. In the interior, the huge sacristy is now a museum that exhibits a collection of five paintings by José de Ribera (El Españoleto) and a carving by Juan de Mesa.
On the lower level is the Pantheon of Dukes, which was built in the Plateresque style in 1545 and contains a small chapel with an altarpiece attributed to Roque Balduque, a painting of Hernando de Esturmio, and the tombs of the Dukes of Osuna.

En el del centro se representan diversos episodios de la vida de Jesús, obras de Juan Zamora. A la izquierda, el retablo de la Virgen de la Victoria junto a varios santos; a la derecha, el dedicado a San Arcadio —patrón de la ciudad— y la Imposición de la Casulla a San Ildefonso.

Wedding to Macondo. José Arcadio and Ursula were cousinses. For fear to generate sons with the tail, Ursula is WORN a kind of castity belt. Till a tragic evening in which José Arcadio, after to have murdered Prudencio Aguilar that had insult him, went from determined Ursula: "remove that garment". Ursula: " you will be in charge of that will happen" . José: " we will raise of the iguane sons, but in this country not more they will be died for your guilt ".

The last Sunday of every month Mexico City's major streets and avenues are turned over to bicycle riders of all ages, which translates to 32 kilometers of road usually designated to cars and motorbikes. This is where one of the conundrums of pursing a democratic society comes to the surface: the inability to please everyone. That is drivers aren't happy with the detour as most people don't track of the date on which this event takes place only to face frustrating, constant detours --especially-- in the downtown area. It's fun to see and an opportune chance to share one's joy and passion for pursuing healthy habits --like riding a bicycle-- with others.

It is suggested that the Municipal Council of Lazi pass and enact a resolution declaring November 24, as "Lazi Veterans Memorial Day", therefore making it an official and annual Town celebration in honor of not only Veterans of WWII, but all Veterans of Lazi, including all others who served, past or present.
Update : February 2024
As of this date and for the past 23 years, no action nor any initiative, has been taken by the Lazi Municipal Council to consider even a mere token, towards enacting a local and official resolution, to honor all Veterans of Lazi.
