I’ve spent all of the love I saved. We were always a losing game. Small-town boy in a big arcade. I got addicted to a losing game. All I know, loving you is a losing game...
Coming to the Arcade the 1st March.

Rosenstein is the name of the palace in the background and of the park in which it is located. They recently planted new roses in this part of the park and they still have to grow over the arcades but then you won't see the building anymore from where I was standing.
I was at the park on Saturday morning with a friend for a power walk of more than 2 hours. She said that I only stopped to occasionally take a photo because I needed a break. As if I would ever do something like that ... :)
A bet? Well, you'll never beat my high score... so what do I have to lose? What do you want if you win?
I have been trying to catch the unique look of that arcade in Hamburg*s center for quite some time.
Whereas my previous attempts all aimed at picturing the lamps in progressively blurred row from fore- to background, I tried to catch the interesting contrast of light and shadow created by the low winter sun.

A visit to an amusement arcade gave a great opportunity to experiment with ICM with all the bright colours.
This is one of the gaming machines.
Arcade at the Praça do Comércio
The Praça do Comércio (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈpɾasɐ du kuˈmɛɾsiu];English: Commerce Square) is located in the city of Lisbon,Portugal. Situated near the Tagus river, the square is still commonly known as Terreiro do Paço ([tɨˈʁejɾu du ˈpasu]; English: Palace Square), because it was the location of the Paços da Ribeira (Royal Ribeira Palace) until it was destroyed by the great 1755 Lisbon Earthquake. After the earthquake, the square was completely remodelled as part of the rebuilding of the Pombaline Downtown, ordered by Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, 1st Marquess of Pombal, who was the Minister of the Kingdom of Portugal from 1750 to 1777, during the reign of Dom José I, King of Portugal.

The central aisle of the shopping arcade in London Bridge Station, linking the main line station with the Underground.
One of my favorite buildings in Cookeville, and also the source of a valuable language lesson to me. When I was a kid my parents told me that Dad was moving his law practice into the Arcade Building and MAN WAS I EVER EXCITED!

The Victorian built Bournemouth Arcade or Gervis Arcade Bournemouth Dorset. September 2017.
Gervis Arcade C1874: As with so many seaside resorts of the 19th century, Bournemouth attracted a wealthy and fashionable clientele. Shopkeepers were not long in seeing the business potential of catering for both residents and tourists. Shops and arcades were opened in the centre of town, such as the splendid example of Victorian architecture shown here.
The Hillbilly Arcade was located on the grounds of Hillbilly Town, home of the Sky Slide and Goofy Golf. I snapped this photo in the 90's before it was torn down. I loved this animated sign. Osage Beach, Missouri 1996?
