PS: THIS is NOT real fur. I don't condone the use of fur unless you are an Eskimo!
Caught sight of these two geese hanging out by the lake this morning while walking Sock. Luckily, the geese didn't seem concerned by Sock on the shore and I was able to snap a quick photo.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

After a brief moment of golden light, cloud soon descended on the Roaches and a sharp shower didn't look too far away. A fabulous morning with plenty of mood around.

I was starting to get discouraged by this point in the walk, I could hear the birds calling but none were really visible, they were busy singing from the tops of the tree.
Happily as we rounded a corner I spotted this little lady perched and happy to pose.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

The sun was out but the wind was cold and that water was nearly a charcoal color. Lake Michigan at Muskegon State Park. I hope to get back there in July and take another picture when there are leaves on the tree, fluffy clouds in a light blue sky and the water is a summer color.
The last day of April certainly gave us a bit more than a shower.
Thankfully the umbrella was up to the challenge of keeping me and the camera dry :)
This cactus blossom is named "April Dawn" - perfect timing !! Seen on a cloudy morning in the Desert garden at the Huntington Library & Botanical Gardens in San Marino CA.
I have been reminded of the flooding back in April 2017. This couple launched their canoe from what is normally dry land in the park. This is a re-edit of one that I posted back then, which was all colour.
