Just a simple candid street style Snap captured through the window of a fast food joint of some people taking refreshment.

THANK YOU KINDLY" to anyone who finds this shot good enough to put amongst their "FAVES".

"THANK YOU KINDLY" to anyone who finds this shot good enough to leave a "Comment" I'll do my very best to reply to you individually.

I didn't find any but a little vignette helped.

In amongst the famous pinnacle ridge of Liathach, Glen Torridon, Scotland. This is a spectacular hike through wild scenery that includes some difficult sections of scrambling. It was definitely one of my most memorable mountain days. Shortly after I took this, it started to snow, then hail, then the sun came out.

"made of metal" macro mondays (needle amongst coloured top pins)

at first I wasn't sure about the graininess but it sort of grew on me..not sure. Anyway HMM everyone.

I danced amongst the green leaves, celebrating the new season.

For the Harry Potter fans amongst you, this is this is Eilean na Moine at the west end of Loch Eilt which appears in the films as Dumbledore's last resting place.

We could have used some wizardly intervention with the weather which was a big dissapointment after a very early start to reach this spot for sunrise.

Russell (McRusty) and I met up with Carol (MrsR66) and Steve (Stoates-Findhorn) before sunrise at this location which faces due east along the loch in anticipation of a colourful dawn; alas it wasn't to be.

The lack of colour seems to lend itself to a monochrome conversion.

It's been a while since I have posted a shot of the emerald city, so I went back and pulled up one from the heart of downtown. This is the Seattle skyline up close and personal.

Thanks as always for checking out my work and have a great week all.

A beautiful owl wood carving is keeping watch in a wood full of golden daffodils, spring 2025!

Captured this shot from the edge of Mount Wycheproof. Apparently the worlds smallest mountain. While it is high enough above sea level to be a mountain, it's only 50 meters above the plains of Wycheproof.

I just finished an amazing trip around Slovenia, and will be sharing my favourite shots from my 8 days there. Slovenia is an absolutely breathtaking country and I can't recommend it enough.

This photo depicts the impressive and dramatic view after the highest point of the Vršič Pass, which is the highest road in Slovenia and in the Julian Alps.

From this point there are various paths you can hike. Of course, the mountains are littered with goats, sheep, cows etc, which is wonderful.

Thank you for looking, have a great Sunday :)

Apologies for the lack of activity on here over recent weeks but I've had a busy summer with 3 family weddings to attend including my daughters. I'll try and catch up with everyone when I can.

A while back I had report of a Cattle Egret on my patch, this is an unusual species for Surrey so I was pleased to catch up with this particular bird amongst the cattle.

A small flower nestled among the spikes on this cactus.

A break in the storm provided a brief glimpse of two of the peaks in Yosemite.
