The annual DMPS Art Exhibit opened Thursday, March 3 with a reception at Capital Square. Thanks to more than 80 teachers who have made it possible for the work of over 1,200 students to be on display this year - an increase of 500% in the last four years! The exhibit is on display through March 7. Building hours at Capital Square are 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM.

I am trying to decide which shot of lentils should be submitted to Click (beans n lentils) for May. As always I am running late, but fortunately during my long weekend home, Mom made lentils. Cooked with onions, garlic, chives (sive), bandhania and probably a bit of browning and whatnot. Yummy eaten with rice and stewed chicken.

I garnished with some leaves of bandhania/chadon beni for green and because it's my favourite herb.

Sort of back.. not that I was really away x3

Well I decided to NOT stop my hobby..

I will be less active, but I will upload only pictures I think are amazing..

That's also the reason why I deleted SO MANY pics xD

They were just not beatiful enough..

deleting them also made me realise I probably have a little talent for photographing. Between one of mu first pics is 1 amazing! ^^

I just need to learn..

And, if I don't feel like it.. I shouldn't do it. Like this pic, the first (unedited) version suckt.. "cause I didn't felt like editing it..

(I used to be so afraid to take self-portraits, uncomfortable with how I looked, both inside and out. It was only when I found a true tribe of friends that I realized how beautiful I really am.)

Ziemlich am Anfang von Tom Tykwers neuem Film "Drei" gibt es eine Szene, in der die von Sophie Rois dargestellte Hauptfigur Hanna aus einer Laune heraus ein Bild von Gilbert und George von ihrer Küchenwand löst, das sie vor Jahren dort hingeklebt hat. Die Tapete hinter dem Bild hat eine kräftige Farbe, drumherum ist sie verblasst. "Oh Gott", sagt Hanna, "wir müssen renovieren."

Jeder kennt solche Momente, in denen man durch eine scheinbar nebensächliche Beobachtung von der Erkenntnis überwältigt wird, wie schnell die Zeit vergeht. "Drei" ist ein Film über Leute, die auf unkonventionelle Weise versuchen, mit den Krisensituationen zurechtzukommen, die mit dem Älterwerden unausweichlich einhergehen. Nach zwei internationalen Großproduktionen ist Tykwer an den Schauplatz Berlin zurückgekehrt, um diesen Film zu machen. Statt mit Naomi Watts und Clive Owen hat er mit Sophie Rois, Sebas­tian Schipper und Devid Striesow gedreht. Er bewegt sich in einem Milieu, in dem er sich auskennt, weil es sein eigenes ist. "Drei" ist deshalb auch eine Art Heimatfilm für aufgeschlossene Großstadt­bewohner geworden.

Für unsere aktuelle Titelgeschichte haben wir Tykwer im Konferenzraum des X Verleih in der Kurfürstenstraße zu einem ausführlichen Gespräch getroffen. Als eine Mitarbeiterin nach gut einer Stunde die Tür öffnete, um zu signalisieren, dass die vereinbarte Zeit nun vorbei sei, geschah etwas Ungewöhnliches. "Jetzt noch nicht", sagte Tykwer und winkte ab. "Ich hab hier noch was zu erzählen.“
