Rear view, sign for Fireworks Stand. Short wheelbase, probably had a 5th wheel mounted in US Army service. Mack rear axles and springs.
I have been tagged by the lovely Gourmande in the kitchen. So I was supposed to take a selfportrait, post it and say ten things about me (nine true things and a lie). I am not so comfortable with self-portraits (actually, I never took one), so I use this silly picture, taken with my Mac. The hand belongs to my cousin and here you have the 10 things (guess where I lied!).
1. I've attended two Cinema schools.
2. I love storms, rainy days and fog (my land is a foggy land in winter). Flowers, leaves and wood. Fairy tales (they are so cruel and true), tragedies and russian literature. Chocolate, fruit and bread.
3. I have a really bad habit and I cannot manage it or take over it.
4. I've travelled a lot when I was younger.
5. In life I never missed a Nick Cave italian concert, but I missed him playing near my home two weeks ago: this says a lot.
6. I can speak french, english and spanish (apart from italian, of course).
7. I love written words, the flying ones in particulary.
8. Usually I dream all night long.
9. I fear judgement and I cannot stand judging people. I fear denial and abandonment too.
10. I get bored quickly.
The title quotes the huge Sylvia Plath.
PS: I tag the amazing Lieve, hoping not to bore her!

The Jungfernsee (translated "Virgins Lake") is located north of Potsdam, Germany. It was a glacial kettle and is now part of the River Havel, which runs along its southeastern shore, which is also the only part of its shores that is in Berlin. The rest of the Lake lies in the Potsdam district.
