t's all okay
For some hours peace bends down above our hemisphere
It's all okay
What was meant to happen today, did happen
And what was meant to be done, is done
For a little while it is as if there were neither hatred nor jealousy
As if all evil and all injustice passed away
In the dark of endless space
And for the time of one dream
It is as if all fighting rested
It's all okay, my child
It's all okay
It's all okay
For a short time night saves the sick one from his pains
It's all okay
And the sad one's eyes are closed over all sadness
And to the desperate one, who is whithout consolation or hope
Exhaustion gives forgetting, at least for a short while
And the chased one is secure
In the darkness that before morning
Puts its coat around him
It's all okay, my child
It's all okay
It's all okay
Everything that was mean didn't happen and all debts are erased
It's all okay
In noman's land, where neither today nor tomorrow reign
Where the loser achieves his aim, the unachieveable
Where the opressed one finds asylum, the unbearable becomes easy
And sleep heals all wounds gracefully
For a few hours it takes away all burden
That heavily poses on our shoulders
It's all okay, my child
It's all okay
It's all okay.

A cultural tradition. . . when we taught school in China, the students had never heard of Halloween, so we gave them a little history -- aka All Saints (Holy or Hallow) Evening, a liturgical feast that coincides with harvest festival traditions. . . now, of course, mostly little candy beggars going door-to-door. . . be safe, enjoy some treats!

Many genres
This is a ticket stub from a Ringo Starr concert some years ago. I did see him again a couple of years ago. Great show. His line-up changes every few years. The members he has at the time all play their hits as well. It is literally like seeing 5 bands in one night.
My musical tastes all almost all genres. Rock, Prog rock, Jazz, Country (old & new) Blues, Classical and even the odd opera song.

Whiteface Mountain | Connery Pond, New York
We arrived early morning for sunrise at Connery Pond and were astonished by the color explosion and magical fog wrapping around the lake. Connery Pond is located in North Elba in the Adirondacks of New York. It has one of the most iconic views on Whiteface Mountain and is visited by many photographers each year. The surrounding is very peaceful.
Prints are available for purchase on my website directly from the photos page.
Bought a mixed bouquet, saw just the tips of the yellow Irises, to my amazement, the center turned out blue, not seen that before, thus photo-session with my new elegant models.
I AM unfurling all my beauty for you...
In Flowers'-language: Iris means faith; hope; wisdom and valour
In Fine Arts: the lenses also have an iris diaphragm which can be opened and closed to control the amount of light reaching the film.
I wish you a good day and thank you for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)

If it's mine, it is mine.
If it's yours, it is mine.
If I like it, it is mine.
If I can take it from you, it is mine.
If I am playing with something, ALL of the pieces are mine.
If I think it is mine, it is mine.
If I saw it first, it is mine.
If I had it then put it down, it is still mine.
If you had it then put it down, it is now mine.
If it looks like the one I have at home, it is mine.
If it is broken, it is yours.
68029 rushes through Grindleford station as crew training continues in all weathers. The melting snow on the platform was soon added to as the snow started to fall heavily, sadly now turned to heavy rain.
The Priory Church of All Saints in Weybourne is not the most exciting church on the Norfolk coast, but it was the church of a major Priory, the remains of which survive nearby. The 13th century Priory swallowed an earlier Saxon cruciform church, and the remains of the tower of this church can still be recognised to the north of the modern chancel. The north aisle of the present church is on the site of the Saxon church.
Hallo, hier sind wir an der Aller entlang Richtung Celle mit dem Rad unterwegs gewesen. Das Wetter war in diesem Moment sehr schön und auch die Atmosphäre tat ihr übriges dazu. Landschaftlich wunderschön.

Dear Friends, thank you for all comments and faves. I have missed you all...
When there's love inside, I swear I'll always be strong
Then there's a reason why, I'll prove to you we belong
I'll be the wall that protects you
From the wind and the rain, from the hurt and the pain, yeah!
Let's make it! (All for one and all for love)
Let the one you hold be the one you want, the one you need
'Cause when it's all for one, it's one for all
When there's someone that should know, then just let your feelings show
And make it all for one and all for love
When it's love you make, I'll be the fire in your night
When it's love you take I will defend, I will fight
I'll be there when you need me
When honor's at stake, this vow I will make
We have a LOT of spiders at the moment, more than usual... and therefore a lot of webs :-)
Thank you for all the faves and comments, and for following my photostream - I appreciate it!

When I was young
I never needed anyone
And making love was just for fun
Those days are gone
Living alone
I think of all the friends I've known
But when I dial the telephone
Nobody's home
All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself
Anymore
Hard to be sure
Sometimes I feel so insecure
And loves so distant and obscure
Remains the cure
All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself
Anymore
All by myself
Don't wanna live
All by myself
Anymore
When I was young
I never needed anyone
And making love was just for fun
Those days are gone
All by myself
Don't wanna be
All by myself
Anymore
All by myself
Don't wanna live
Don't wanna live
By myself, by myself
Anymore
By myself
Anymore
All by myself
Don't wanna live
I never, never, never
Needed anyone
Interior from the church in Mörlunda, Småland, southern Sweden.
The church was built in 1840 (though not consecrated until 1843!). But there has been a church here long before that, probably since before 1329. This church was not a replacement of that one, however, since that one got destroyed in 1567 during hostilities of what is now known as the Northern Seven Years' War (1563-1570).
The altar-piece is a copy of The Descent from the Cross painted by Rubens 1612–1614, which you can see in the Cathedral of Our Lady, Antwerp, Belgium. This copy dates to 1840 and was made by the local talent Salomon Andersson (who made many pieces for churches in the area). It is a copy, but I have to admit it is a rather crude one, if you compare this one to the original.

A view to take your breath away whilst trying to catch it. I stopped here on the way up to Mount Fremont. This one is a two shot stitch, I have one that is just as wide at 10mm but this one is a slightly better comp. That is Burroughs one and two in foreground, Little Tahoma on the left and Rainier middle. Does anyone know the name of the two peaks to the right?
White Ibis are highly gregarious at all times. They nest in large colonies, feed in flocks almost exclusively, and roost communally.
This adorable trio was all tucked in together for the night.

This male ruddy duck is all dressed up in his finest breeding plumage and sky-blue beak, ready to woo some lady duck. Good luck, Mr. Ruddy.

Ecclesiastes 1:7: “All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again.”
An absolute rarity, this young Sharp-shinned Hawk blessed my backyard while it enjoyed its birdie meal. Taking a break here before it moves on. I've only seen a handful of hawks stop by over the years; this one probably got what it wanted. Actually, for two Super Bowl Sundays in a row, a hawk sat on my fence. Second year, I named it Brady. If it happens this year, I may have to change the name to Jared.
Happy Halloween!
Well we deserve to have a little fun to take our mind off more serious matters. The origin of Halloween lies in the Christian feast of All Hallows' Eve, the night before All Saints' Day (Nov 1). Traditionally it provides an opportunity to scare away true evil. To show the Evil One that we are not afraid. I like that!
