So far we've been able to organize another styled shoot this week, working with super talented people. During the shoot we joked about how she looked like Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter.

A fence on one of the side streets in Alexandria. Most of the properties were kept in perfect condition. This fence belonged to a property where the owner had been evicted because of lack of upkeep. There was a notice posted to the front door.
Happy Fence Friday, everyone. I have a sister visiting today so may not be able to view the group photos until this evening. That is always a highlight of my Fridays. Wishing you a beautiful weekend.

Gentile Bellini (ca. 1432-1507) and Giovanni Bellini (ca. 1430-1516). St. Mark preaching in Alexandria/Predica di San Marco ad Alessandria d'Egitto (1504-1507). In the collection of the Pinacoteca di Brera, Milan.
Most of the painting was done by Gentile, who had been to Constantinople in 1479-80 and could recall some elements of "eastern" architecture. After his death, the work was completed by his brother Giovanni. At some point in history, the upper part of this gigantic canvas was cut off, perhaps as a result of damage or simply to make it fit on a wall. It still measures a monumental 347x770 cm.
