The first of the tulips to bloom was, naturally, the first to show signs of aging. But it retained its glorious color until the end.
Titus 2:1-2 King James Version (KJV)
1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

Thank you for your visits and for taking the time to comment!
This is one of the big Behala buildings in Berlin, a company founded in 1923, survived through the 2nd World War and provides a lot in the way of photography locations. Behala is a huge logistics company and from various angles you can get some interesting shots of their assets, some quite noticeably historic.
Quite a thing that within these buildings is the best in modern technology yet the outside hardly ever changes.
Have a great weekend everyone and as always, thank you! :)

It died, but its growth form may give some insight to its death. At the top left of the tree is a proliferation of branches that is decidedly non-juniperish. Forest biologists call these witches brooms, and they occur in a variety of conifers and deciduous trees. They are usually caused by fungi, viruses, or plant parasites called mistletoes. This growth may have been the last straw for a tree growing in an arid environment.

This is the beautiful Stavanger Cathedral that I passed on a walk around the town. The stonework was amazing! “Stavanger Cathedral is Norway’s oldest cathedral and is considered the country’s best-preserved medieval cathedral.
It was built around 1125 and dedicated to Saint Swithun.
The cathedral has been in continuous use since the 1300s and remains the seat of the Diocese of Stavanger.
It is the only Norwegian cathedral from the Middle Ages that has largely retained its original appearance.”
