I'm not a great Motorhead fan. But one of my favourite bands, Del Amitri always performed a cover of this song in their live show.

We had joy we had fun
we had seasons in the sun
but the wine and the song
like the seasons have all gone
all our lives we had fun
we had seasons in the sun
but the hills that we climbed
were just seasons out of time

My musical genre in the main is Rock; my contribution to this weeks Macro Monday Theme of being inspired by a song is "Ace of Spades" a song by British rock band Motörhead, released in 1980 as a single and the title track to the album Ace of Spades. I suppose the pure intensity of the song caught my ears as a young 21 years old way back in 1980.
The band members were Lemmy – bass, lead vocals,
"Fast" Eddie Clarke – lead guitar,
Phil Taylor – drums

We took the boys to the local botanical gardens this week to see a really fantastic exhibit on extreme tree houses. I'm sure I don't have to tell you it was a huge hit:) This is from the "abstract" one...and when I saw it I immediately said "fence friday!" which was greeted by a giant eye roll fest from my family.
Have a great weekend! :)
For FGR and Playing Cards .
When I saw this challenge, the first card I thought of was the ace of spades as I love the Motorhead song. I did do one with spade bokeh but I think I need to adjust the cutout as it didn't work too well so I'm sticking with my trusty hearts. It still has a card link right???
Bizarrely, I've just discovered that the group pool's web address has ace of spades in it...spooky!
Oh, and HBW of course!
Flipping through the cards, Hadley sends an ace my way. Using my wide-angle and looking for the one moment, we get the shot together.

Ten years after the mass production of the blips, used in almost every space outpost, the Federation decided to build more sophisticated robots, with the purpose of using them especially for scouting and patrolling. Programmed to survive in every hostile environment, small enough to go unnoticed in enemy territories, trained to use heavy weapons, and with a state-of-the-art gps that allow them to instantaneously create high-definition maps. Thery're also higly customizable.
Here you can see three units from the "Ace of Spade" brigade.

Magic alleys and narrow cloisters are the charateristic of the neighborhoods..you feel happy walking there....
"If you are the dealer, I'm out of the game
If you are the healer, it means I'm broken and lame
If thine is the glory then mine must be the shame
You want it darker
We kill the flame...
