About 30 minutes prior to my last post from Kaw Point. Snowflake crop circles floating down the Missouri River. The wall in the water is actually where the Kansas and Missouri Rivers meet. A boundary/divide of two states in the chilly waters.

About 2 weeks prior to the visit to Devil's Tower, Wyoming (above) there was a major wind and hail storm ! It brought down several trees - so I took this shot - fallen trees, bright sunny day and all!
It’s about twenty-five minutes to walk to the very nice suburb of Winthorpe, on the northern edge of Newark but here you really feel out in the country. This pub, the Lord Nelson was our destination for an early evening meal. Very nice old place with meals and accommodation if wanted.

The Zamość Rotunda was built in the years 1825-31, as a defense system for Zamość.
During World War II, the Germans created a camp for arrested people here. Later, in 1942, this facility was also the site of numerous mass executions, which included the population of the Zamość region, including children, until 1943. It is estimated that about 8 thousand people were killed here.

Rotunda Zamojska była wybudowana w latach 1825 - 31, jako system obrony Zamościa.
Podczas II wojny światowej Niemcy stworzyli tu obóz dla ludności aresztowanej. Później, w roku 1942, obiekt ten stanowił także miejsce licznych, masowych egzekucji, jakie obejmowały do roku 1943 ludność Zamojszczyzny, w tym również dzieci. Szacuje się, że pozbawiono tu życia około 8 tysięcy ludzi.
