Children singing the "ABC" song in Barrio Babag on Mactan Island. Since 1964 it has been mandated that English be taught in school. English is the Official language of the Philippines, whereas English IS NOT the Official language of the United States. The Philippines is the 3rd largest English speaking country in the world; The United States, Great Britain, the Philippines, followed by Canada. the Philippines biggest export is her people... highly educated, and hard working. Politics in the US is dumbing down Americans... we don't have an official language lest we 'offend' somone, it is fragmenting our population and destroying our culture by design.
ABC stores were all over Waikiki and the rest of Honolulu when we were there. Sometimes (it seemed) two to a block. This one is in Kailua-Kona. It's a kind of convenience/deli/beach store that's packed with everything you want in a hurry (including booze). The thing I bought there most often was bottles of cold water.

This is a Debbie Brown design, the covering in sections was a bit more fiddly than I'm used to, I think I'd just cover the whole cake next time and then do lines etc from there, would be a neater finish. Choc mud with choc ganache underneath, the fruit is all made from fondant.
The old ABC cinema in Lancaster was recently demolished, I only managed to snap a few pics before it was gone.
Kaya Grandi with its colorful housefronts is the main drag of Kralendijk, Bonaire's "capital". It's a cute little place with nice restaurants at the waterfront, and shops.

L’impostazione nitida della serie ABC è orientata alla massima semplicità e rigore formale, tuttavia grazie alla messa a punto di una esclusiva tecnica di trattamento dei diffusori, sui quali viene trasferita una minuziosa texture alfabetica a rilievo, è stato possibile aggiungere a queste qualità estetiche una leggerezza e una preziosità del vetro inedite.
La serie ABC, con diffusori in vetro soffiato opalino satinato bianco, cristallo nero o trasparente, è disponibile in tre misure con varianti che coprono le tipologie da terra, tavolo e a sospensione. La struttura è in metallo cromato lucido o verniciato bianco opaco.
