AbC and I decided to give her teachers made-from-scratch red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing. As part of this process, she and I purchased the necessary ingredients last night and baked the ingredients tonight. One of the first steps is to sift the dry ingredients together, which AbC is so dutifully doing here. Though baking with an 8-year old can be a tad bit more labored, we had a lot of fun and successfully baked almost two dozen cupcakes for four teachers with a few leftovers.
Now a bit of underwater experiences and encounters... dives are done from the shore (i.e. you drive there by pickup truck) or they are boat dives (i.e. going over to Klein Bonaire, which lies only 1 km or so off the main island). To put it first, diving in Bonaire is better (and cheaper!!) than Aruba or Curacao. There's just more and bigger aquatic life here. Like this nosy turtle...
