For today's 9/11 issue, our Life Editor wrote a story. It ran lead story centerpiece this morning.
I remember i was in Chemistry when our principal came on over the PA system to tell us what happened. Then we watched the news broadcast on TV all next period during french class, and that's when we watched the 2nd plane hit.
Everyone in my parent's generation talks about how they knew exactly when and where they were when they heard JFK was shot. I think this is the equivalent for our generation.

This reminded me of the movie 9 where the characters were made from various pieces of scrap.
I was in the city of Ciego de avila in Cuba, where materials for art are basically non existent.
I walked into an art shop where the products were made from old spoons and forks.
I walked into the back where the workshops was based and there at the very back was a table of old scrap forks and spoons and growing out of the middle was this fantastic piece of art not yet finished but surrounded by all the potential materials that might be added.
so I will photograph 4 babies these next few days born on 9-9-09... seems to be a popular day to have a baby (on purpose)!!
