Latest iteration of my DF.9 turret for my Hoth diorama. I really don't like the straight cylinder in the lego sets, and have been looking for a way to have it taper inwards. Finally think I've cracked it.

These lovely Amaryllis belladonna flowers come up on tallish stalks from a dried up looking bulb, without leaves. Hence the naked lady common name. I was worried the extreme heat ( >39 degrees C) yesterday would singe them but the rain came just early enough to cool and refresh the garden. As well as provide some needed water!
today. I somehow was lucky enough to have this amazing girl enter my life.

232 294-9 fährt mit ihrem leeren Kohlezug am kleine Ort Golbitz b. Könnern vorbei. Seit diesem Jahr fährt die leere Könnern Kohle wieder ihren Laufweg direkt von Könnern nach Halle/S. Diese heute total kastrierte Eingleisige Hauptbahn lässt durch ihre dichte Belegung so gut wie keinen Güterverkehr zu. Von 12 bis 17 Uhr gibt es genau zwei Taktlücken in denen ein Güterzug von Könnern nach Halle/S fahren kann ohne das ein Personenzug durch den Gz im Block eine Verspätung bekommt. DB Netz im Jahre 2022....
232 294-9 with her empty coal train next to the little settlement of Golbitz near Könnern. Since this year the Könnern coal train runs empty over his original route directly from Könnern to Halle/S. With most of the infrastucture on this line castrated by DB Netz, there is not much gaps in between the passenger train to begin with....Germany in the year of 2022...
