so i would like to post this Picture again from last Year. This Session is one of my absolutely favourites ever.This Steamtrain is very old and drives only a few Times in the Year through my Town :)
While I was walking, I was looking for a different street candid moment. I got a glass mirror without frames, attached on the wall of a shop. On that glass, I took fun reflections of a passerby.
After hours of nervous anticipation, a few hundred Wildebeest and Zebra cross the Mara River for greener pastures, all while trying to avoid the Nile Crocodiles and lions that lurked in the shallows.
As if crossing the wild Mara river wasn't enough of a challenge, as the herd collected on the opposite shore they were stopped in their tracks by a lone Hyena. The look on their faces as they stood frozen without any idea what to do next really grabbed me.
It was a bright sunny day with so many birds on the road.I was waiting for this perticular moment, when birds and people would come together in a single frame.
Love the way I have framed this image, of a woman with a few birds in the background sky. I love the color contrast too.
The railway line between Cusco and Puno crosses sumptuous landscapes, the train ride must be an unforgettable experience.
At the Raya pass, the highest point of the route, we are at an altitude of 4325 m (14,222 ft).
At this point, the cordilleras of Central and South of Peru join together forming the node" of Vilcanota, whose snowy peaks, often covered with clouds, can be seen.
Beyond the pass extend the bare immensity of the Peruvian altiplano to the shores of Lake Titicaca.

Un lieu pour des trains pas comme les autres
La voie ferrée entre Cusco et Puno traverse des paysages somptueux, le trajet en train doit être une expérience inoubliable.
Au col de la Raya, point culminant du trajet, on est à 4325 m d'altitude.
A cet endroit, les cordillères du Centre et du Sud du Pérou se rejoignent en formant le "nœud" de Vilcanota dont on aperçoit les cimes enneigées, souvent coiffées de nuages.
Au delà du col s'étendent les immensité nues de l'altiplano péruvien, jusqu'aux rives du lac Titicaca.

"It's impossible to imagine the Swiss mountain world as more idyllic than the area surrounding Lake Bachalpsee. The snow-covered peaks of the Alps are reflected in the crystal clear blue water.
First is the starting point for hikes and it offers action: An adrenaline rush and speed thrills are guaranteed on the First Flyer, trottibike scooters or bikes. Children can have fun on the 700-m² playground at the Bort intermediate station."
Trois étapes vous seront nécessaires pour débarquer en toute tranquillité dans cet écrin de nature montagnarde paradisiaque. A 2200 mètres d'altitude, le First offre des panoramas étourdissants, notamment une vue imprenable sur sept 4000 des Alpes bernoises.
En une petite heure de marche à travers pâturages et chemins pédestres bucoliques, vous atteignez le superbe lac Bachalpsee et ses eaux cristallines. De tous les côtés, des points de vue pittoresques. Inoubliable ascension. Pour un peu de culture, passez donc la nuit au Berghotel Faulhorn, le plus ancien hôtel de montagne de Suisse!
Der First ist eine Verflachung des Südwest-Rückens zum Widderfeldgrätli (2'632 m ü. M.) im Berner Oberland nördlich oberhalb von Grindelwald. Er ist über eine Gondelbahn oder zu Fuss erreichbar. Die obere Bergstation heisst ebenfalls First (2'167 m ü. M.) und steht den Besuchern im Winter und im Sommer mit einem gut ausgebauten Ski- und Wandergebiet zur Verfügung.
Besonders beliebt ist die Wanderung zum Bachalpsee und weiter zum Faulhorn, die ein spektakuläres Panorama mit Blick auf den oberen Grindelwaldgletscher sowie Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau bietet. Eine weitere interessante Wanderung führt auf das Schwarzhorn. Östlich von First liegt 5,6 Kilometer zu Fuss entfernt die Grosse Scheidegg.
Der First ist ein Startort für Paraglider und Deltasegler sowie Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Mountainbiketouren. Station First bietet auch einen imposanten kurvenreichen Schlittenweg, welcher bei guten Schneeverhältnissen direkt nach Grindelwald führt.
