This aircraft was delivered to US Air as N624AU in Jul-94. US Air was renamed US Airways in Feb-97. It was sold to a lessor in Dec-03 and leased back to US Airways.
In Jan-07 the aircraft was re-registered N937UW and was fitted with blended winglets in May-09. US Airways was merged into American Airlines in Apr-15 (official merger date).
American Airlines retired the aircraft at Goodyear, AZ, USA in Nov-17. It was thought to be permanently retired but was sold to SF Airlines (Shun Feng Airlines) in Jun-18 and ferried to Singapore-Seletar for freighter conversion.
It was converted to full freighter configuration with a main deck cargo door in Dec-18 and re-registered B-207Y prior to service entry. Current, updated 01-Jun-23.

What a week! It wasn’t a bad Friday. Stayed for beers after work for the last time which made me sad! I’ll really miss everyone I work with. There were always one or two people I missed after leaving a job but this time I really will miss everyone.
Every night this week I’ve sat down on the couch with the intention of making it through a show or a movie and have fallen asleep instead.
I’m not good with change, good or bad. The only constant in life IS change but as someone whose big 3 are fixed signs, I take a while to adjust. Part of me is scared and nervous, and that’s something I really didn’t account for while dreaming of getting a new job. It’s a good scared and nervous, but still! Mix of emotions at the moment.

A very very rushed and slightly blurry shot of tonights moon through the scope at an equivalent 2000mm lens.
There was no time for weights, battery or tracking as I could already feel the rain on my face.
My last shot of the night sky for 2017, bring on an astrotactic 2018!
Here I am at Wolverhapton and according to realtime trains, this convoy of 97's was due to pass on platform one (right side of this image), instead being routed through 2 (the one I was standing on), so this is the best I could manage at the time.
Anyways, the convoy consists of 97302, 97303 and 97304 and the date is the 09/07/21.

Stranger #97 – Kasia – I met her in the centre of Wrocław, Poland. She just got off her phone and was sitting on a bench when I approached her and asked for a photo. Kasia seemed surprised but she agreed after I explained the project. However, she was pretty reluctant to get up from the bench and walk a few meters into better light :) I took a few pictures and we parted our ways. As I was walking away I heard she was on her phone again saying "You won't believe what just happened to me! I'll tell you in a sec…" :D Kasia seemed to be a really nice person and I hope you like the result ;)
This picture is #97 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
