2014.03.30 - This was part of the list of ideas I had in mind for this 365. Most of them include self-portraits and this one with sparkling dust was one of them! It was quite hard to make it, since I was doing it on my own, I was using both hands, so no hidden remote control, and the dust was so thin, I had blow a full amount of it, to be at least visible!
But it was fun and I loved the final result!

I found this fella on our front lawn and thought "you would make a good photo a day"!
I really upped the f-stop so I got plenty of it in focus but as a result needed quite a long exposure as you can see from the exif data. Thank goodness for tripods!

Today was a gloomy day. Rained pretty much all day. Isaiah pretended to jump in mud puddles inside and as soon as the rain let up, we did the real thing.
He kept looking at me as if asking, "Are you sure I can do this?"
I just told him to have fun....he did!
