This one is part of my "Lost in Translation" series.
The idea for the series is to take conceptual photos (my favorites) playing with the meaning of some expressions/words in the English language.
The first image for the series is in the comments below.
I would love to know what you think. =D
While doing this I couldn't stop thinking about my favorite Florence and The Machine song "Landscape". It goes like this:
"Cause she's just like the weather, can't hold her together
Born from dark water, daughter of the rain and snow
'Cause it's burning through the bloodline
It's cutting down the family tree
Growing in the landscape, darling, in between you and me"

The avant-garde, streamlined design of the Tatra 87 looks rather like a fish, not least because of the large rear fin.
The three headlights are also typical of the Tatra design. The low drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.36 enabled the car with its air-cooled 3.0-litre V8 engine to attain a speed of 150 km/h. However, at that speed driving the car became dangerous – the heavy rear engine made it hard to handle.
The Austrian engineer Hans Ledwinka joined the Czech company Tatra in 1921 as technical director. He invented the ‘backbone chassis’ and was a pioneer in the area of aerodynamic design. The design of this particular Tatra dates back to the pre-war years. Ledwinka was a close colleague of Ferdinand Porsche, but when the Volkswagen Beetle was introduced, Tatra claimed that Porsche had copied their design. The court case was interrupted by the war, but Volkswagen later admitted Tatra’s influence.

It won't be long until this isn't the way home.
This has really been bothering me lately. You never realize how attached you are to a particular place until you're leaving...
In a couple of months my life will never be the same. I guess the plus side for those of you who follow my photostream is that there will probably all new locations! Yay! :D
I wish I was moving somewhere really cool and exciting though... to be honest, I don't know where I'm moving. College is a stressful thing. Especially when the colleges you want don't give the scholarships you deserve!
I fail at counting. I always forget to check what day I'm on. I originally posted this as 84|365 and it was actually 87|365. Pathetic.
