AMTK 68, the southbound Adirondack, is stopped at Rouses Point for customs inspections. It has a refurbished P40DC (AMTK 821) in the lead.
15th of September 1962 and I need a bit of help with the location here (itās Albury on the Guildford to Reigate line, thanks to Chris below).
The exact details on the negative envelope i think read 31821 Jn Up nr High Bridge Albany 5.39pm 150962, so if anyone can put an exact location to that would appreciate it.
31821 was a Maunsell Mongoliper new to the Southern as 821 in October 1922. It was allocated to Guildford at this time and withdrawn from Exmouth Junction in May 1964.
