At the extreme end of the line - almost. It brings back memories of walking round depots in the West Country in school holidays and seeing locos like this as well as the NBL Type 2's.

There was certainly some variety in those days.

This is meant to be safer than the roundabout that pre-existed it. Except turning cyclists are encouraged to pull left to swing right in front of cars!

Jones 821 zig-zag sewing machine.

This was a second day spent at the Severn Valley Railway Spring Diesel Festival. This time I was keeping my eye out for an out of the ordinary photo.

Here 821 Greyhound is running to the top end of the line and I couldn't resist framing the photo with the "Beware of Trains" sign.

Standing outside the Priory Hotel with Walsall bus station in the background Daimler 821 is waiting to leave with a 4 service to Willenhall, home of the lock industry including Yale. TDH 673 was the sole Daimler CLG5 in the fleet, it dated from 1954 and had a Northern Counties body. That side advert for Senior Service cigarettes would never be allowed today, picture early 1965
