At the extreme end of the line - almost. It brings back memories of walking round depots in the West Country in school holidays and seeing locos like this as well as the NBL Type 2's.

This was a second day spent at the Severn Valley Railway Spring Diesel Festival. This time I was keeping my eye out for an out of the ordinary photo.
Here 821 Greyhound is running to the top end of the line and I couldn't resist framing the photo with the "Beware of Trains" sign.
Standing outside the Priory Hotel with Walsall bus station in the background Daimler 821 is waiting to leave with a 4 service to Willenhall, home of the lock industry including Yale. TDH 673 was the sole Daimler CLG5 in the fleet, it dated from 1954 and had a Northern Counties body. That side advert for Senior Service cigarettes would never be allowed today, picture early 1965
