State Route 821 is a north-south state highway in the southeastern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. A relic of the old U.S. Route 21, it begins at the junction of State Route 60 approximately 2 miles north of Marietta, and extends to Interstate 77 in Byesville. The route is entirely undivided surface road, and is much less direct than the newer Interstate 77 which supplanted it as a through route. State Route 821 was designated about two years after US 21 was moved onto I-77 in southeastern Ohio. Cities and villages along SR 821 are Unionville, Whipple, Bonn, Lower Salem, Warner, Elba, Macksburg, Dexter City, South Olive, Dudley, Three Forks, Caldwell, Slaters, Belle Valley, Coal Ridge, Ava, Glenwood, Fairview and Byesville.
These photos show part of a series of sharp curves, the beginning in the left shot and ending in the right, south of Whipple and can be a treacherous piece of highway when the weather is bad or when a driver looses control.
STS079-821-036 (16-26 September 1996) --- Following the Space Shuttle Atlantis - Russian Mir Space Station undocking activities, a crew member captured this 70mm frame of Mir as the two crews shared their final common sunset scene. This photograph is one of four 70mm frames (along with fifteen 35mm frames) of still photography documenting the activities of NASA's STS-79 mission, which began with a September 16, 1996, liftoff from Launch Pad 39A the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) and ended with a landing at KSC on September 26, 1996. Onboard for the launch were Astronauts William F. Readdy, commander; Terrence W. Wilcutt, pilot; John E. Blaha, Jerome (Jay) Apt, Thomas D. Akers and Carl E. Walz, all mission specialists. On flight day 4, the crew docked with Mir. Shannon W. Lucid, who had spent six months aboard Mir, switched cosmonaut guest researcher roles with Blaha. The latter joined fellow Mir-22 crewmembers Valery G. Korzun, commander, and Aleksandr Y. Kaleri, flight engineer.

I didn't realise how friggin big it was! I was thinking it was one of the smaller boxes from the pictures so this is brilliant! I ordered a few extras to come with it to make the purchase more worthwhile, and filled it up with CA stuff. <3
A pleasant Summer stroll around East Grinstead brought me to this location on the outskirts of the town which I had not been to before & made a nice backdrop for this shot of Volvo Olympian 821 in the Provincial livery of Metrobus.
