«¡Te aconsejo que dejes de llorar ahora mismo!» Alicia se daba por lo general muy buenos consejos a sí misma (aunque rara vez los seguía), y algunas veces se reñía con tanta dureza que se le saltaban las lágrimas.
En seguida se dio cuenta que se encontraba en el mar de lagrimas que ella misma habia llorado cuando tenia nueve pies de altura.
-¡Ojala que no hubiese llorado tanto! -se dijo Alicia, mientras nadaba de un lado a otro intentando encontrar una salida-. ¡Ahora sere castigada ahogandome en mis propias lagrimas! Sera una cosa verdaderamente extraña. De todas maneras, creo que todo es extraño hoy en dia

Herons fishing on the edge of Dundalk Bay.
I looked up from my work this afternoon and realised that there was going to be a nice sunset so I drove the short distance to the shore and got some photos of the herons and other birds at the waters edge. A nice break from the laptop.
The park in the center of my city has got a new highlight. The fresh snow of March helps creating the truly winter atmosphere.

No, not a member of a Borg Collective, rather three of this Zebra spider's eight eyes, keeping track of that big shiney thing pointed at it, and wondering... can I take it down? Another chapter in The Little Spider That Could story. At around 6mm (1/4") these little dudes will easily take down prey three to six times their size. This one lives in my backyard rust project... but that's another story. Single image, handheld.

This week's Covid-19 Adventure and Picnic took us to Kentucky Allenye Provincial Park, Kane Valley and Brodie Siding.
One of several gems left behind by the Kettle Valley Railroad (CPR) at the Brodie Siding and Wye near Brookmere British Columbia. This one crossing the Coldwater River is known as the Coldwater Bridge number 8 and is a Pratt or through truss design. It's a hard one to photograph as it's down in a narrow canyon with a river flowing through it and I didn't feel like getting wet.
