Had one of those days, when you wanna try heroin, drunk driving, some form of soft suicide,
sitting in silence and staring at ceilings or peeling the paint off of things to confide.

My 7 year old son has had type 1 diabetes for almost 4 years. He is dependent on insulin every day. I am grateful that we live in the 21st century and that he will be able to lead a long and healthy life.

The windowsill never fails to be present, available, and willing. Those are commendable traits. It's true. It automatically becomes my goto when nothing else seems to be catching my attention.
I need sunshine. Do you? Days, when the weather is cold, damp, and gray, do absolutely nothing to kindle motivation. Today is one of them, and I want to nap, it's true. Sleeping, in the middle of the day, is a luxury but lingers much like a guilty pleasure, on me. Others, maybe not so much. Stroodle, for example, does not seem to stress about snippets of sleeping moments. She naps and seemingly wakes only to look around, reposition, and repeat.
The lesson of the day, learn to comply with my body's needs. If I'm tired, for truthfully, absolutely no reason other than it's a dreary weather day, then I'll gift myself a nap. In the meantime, Stroodle gets the best napper of the day award. I'll try harder, another day.
Have a restful Tuesday night, friends.
xo,
Angie
