Type DHG 700 C built in 1972 by Henschel is still running on the Wittlager Kreisbahn some days per week. A new locomotive will arrive in some months.
On 29 July 2024 two Eanos wagons were put on the quay at Wehrendorf. On the left you can see the Mittellandkanal.
As part of the holiday festivities, there was an igloo building contest in town. This was the most complete example at the building site.
I am grateful for the 7 day b&w challenge. It got me using my camera in a creative way and looking at the world for the beauty it holds again. I am going to try and keep it up.

Roberval Saguenay's #51 is seen here used as the Port-Alfred switcher. Her days are probably numbered as this is the last Super 7 on the roster. I haven't seen #50 in months and i've seen #52 butchered up in pieces at Arvida about two weeks ago. On the right is a solid set of 4 RS GP38-2's bound for Arvida.
