7 Tilden rumbles into Eagle Mills on a sweltering summer day. Air temps around 90 and thick humidity can't be fun on these old dogs.
This is just inside of Gallery 7 in Lockport looking out towards the public area of the building. I have been a member of Gallery 7 for five years now. The adjacent restaurant has a reception room used for parties including weddings. Here we see a newlywed couple waiting around the corner for the deejay to announce them to the waiting crowd.

Summerhill, PA is home to MP 263.7 one of the many former Pennsylvania Railroad signal bridges on the Pitt Line. One of this day's priority intermodal trains, lead by NS 3629, powers uphill under the position lights on a beautiful fall morning.

Ah, the joys of driving down Hwy. 7. It is one of the more scenic drives in the state, a road snaking through the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains. North from Russellville, it passes by some of the great scenic areas of Arkansas - Big Piney Creek, Pedestal Rocks, Alum Cove, Richland Creek, Buffalo River, and of course Booger Hollow.
The great downside to Hwy. 7 is that you tend to get stuck behind a few drivers who perhaps aren't used to roads with hills or curves. Or worse, stuck behind a truck that seems to have broken down (or the driver is scared), so that it isn't driving so much as coasting down the hill at a fast speed of 10 mph.
This happened to me while trying to zoom up Hwy. 7 to the Buffalo River. Alum Cove isn't located that far from the river, so I thought I might try to beat the sunset and make it up there and try to maybe catch some reflections of fall colors in the river. Sadly for my sake, I got stuck in traffic, and got the Buffalo after the sun had set. The colors at the river were muted and dull. Oh well....
